("True wit is nature to advantage dressed, what oft was thought but ne'er so well expressed" - Alexander Pope). When I pull Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, or CS Lewis in on an appropriate point, people seem to like it a lot. That said, I'm not sure stealing Heinlein's verbiage here (if unattributed) could be considered even petty larceny.
