  1. A question no one seems to be asking is, "Why don't the Chinese use this opportunity to invade Russia, like the Germans did back in 1941?" I suspect it's because Russia (at least for now) has a distinct nuclear advantage over China. If we want to keep Taiwan independent, it needs to be under our nuclear umbrella, unlike Ukraine.
