The churches were already marginalized by the "great and the good" because true Christian churches would ask you two gentlemen to take vows of celibacy. Which leads to the question: If it were necessary for you to take (and keep) such vows to revive the West, would you make that sacrifice?

"People pretend as if no one other than Europeans had ever had empires" Even in a place like Brazil, if you talk about reparations against their former imperial overlords they will laugh at you like you've told a joke -- admittedly, the Portuguese economy is kind of a joke. It's a grift, pure and simple. These are bandits, robbing those with money, because for some reason people let them get away with it.
