  1. Blink 182 is so amazing at capturing the feeling of being young, because the lyrics show that at some level the singer is being a complete fool most of the time.

  2. Where the vocals double on "TV shows" and "away from me" - the main vocal is still on the kind of chill, adultlike level it's been on, but the descant puts really childish emotions on top of that, as if there's an incipient tantrum somewhere in there.
