Well, we've built communication systems capable of launching a psychology professor from a Canadian public university into international super-stardom, against the wishes of the Establishment keepers of credibility and finance. These systems are building up their defenses though, canceling the accounts of such upstart academics. Does that mean we're making progress ameliorating the destabilizing effects of social media?
