  2. Professor, they're going to make an example of you. I doubt their goal is to change your mind. I think their goal is to show everyone else what the stakes are -- which is why they forced you to pay court costs; you can afford that, most people can't. To get a win out of this one, you have to blaze a trail that others can follow.
