  1. Interesting fact: The richest 1% are NOT more Conservative than the general public, they are more Libertarian than the general public. The only reason Republicans would have to go Libertarian, is that extremely rich donors want them to go Libertarian. Republicans who play to their base or potential base (i.e., the vast majority of the electorate -- those who lie on surveys pushing Cultural Leftism) are culturally Conservative.
