Yup. This is the best argument against Kamala Harris, who will be president before the end of 2021 if the Democrats steal the election.

Justin Woodall The media and the Democrats have lied about Trump on some key issues: the "very fine people" quote (which was taken out of context, he explicitly condemns neo-Nazis in the full speech); the "Muslim ban", which if you read the actual executive order was simply an administrative response to a lack of ID infrastructure on the part of failed states; and the entire "Russia collusion" hoax that he was impeached on. If your belief that "Trump is worse than Harris" is based on these straight up lies, please reconsider your position. Especially in light of the facts that Tulsi Gabbard brought to light about Harris, in the Democratic debate. Harris is vastly worse than Trump.

@l.w.paradis2108 The collusion of prosecutors' offices are even now aiding and abetting violent riots in cities like Portland. If it weren't for the Moltnomah County DA, the Portland rioters (and the "tourists" who support riots in multiple places) would be behind bars already, and the city would be peaceful without the aid of Federal resources.

@thelegend948 I don't think people should base who they support politically, on provably false reports. I think that's a principled stand. Kamala Harris' record of abuse of power (which a lot of people here seem to care about), on the other hand, is proven by irrefutable evidence. I think it's a principled stand to oppose Harris, too, based on that record, if you really care anything at all about abuse of police power. I'm sure you'll think of it whatever you will.

@thelegend948 I'm not as familiar with those topics, so I didn't weigh in on them. After all of the demonstrable lies about Trump on the topics I cited, I'm not inclined to take what you're saying at face value. Are you sure you're not just being lied to by the media, on those topics?

@thelegend948 If you don't trust mainstream Democrats, why do you trust them on the subject of "voter suppression"? That's a mainstream Democrat issue.

@thelegend948 You probably shouldn't trust most reporters in the legacy media. Alternative media figures that are coming up on YouTube (Tim Pool comes to mind) have been calling them to account for their blatant partisan lies for quite some time now, showing extensive video footage for context. It's worth saying twice. You probably shouldn't trust legacy media reporters.

@thelegend948 People who show the unedited footage for context are more reliable than people who don't. That goes for both Tim and for James O'Keefe. I've been watching Tim for a long time now, since long before his red-pill moment when the riots started. His departure from the Left is a result of the problems of the Left that he talks about; not the other way around.

@thelegend948 PV shows their lips moving, kid, you're not convincing anyone. I have literally never seen any reporter present evidence that exculpates the people that PV has on tape, they just trash-talk PV's reputation. They're not convincing anyone either. Tim and Dave have taken their blinders off, that's all that happened. You should too. Good luck getting through life with those blinders still on. Try not to hurt yourself. And if you try to hurt anyone else, be sure that that will only get you a bad end.

Justin Woodall Well, job creation is the way that the economy spreads wealth around. Wages really were rising. Unemployment leads to things like riots.... as we're seeing now. As far as debt goes -- I can't imagine that Biden would be any better on that score. Were there any Democrats who aligned with the TEA Party? Aren't most avaunt guard Democrats (not just Krystal here, but The Squad, et al) and much of the old guard as well, in favor of Modern Monetary Theory?

Justin Woodall Seriously, I think it's hard to exaggerate how a combination of tightening the labor market (through immigration controls) and increasing job creation can benefit Americans who work for a living. Open Borders really is a Koch brothers proposal, as early Bernie would say. Working people who support Trump for that are basing their decision on something real, tangible, beneficial, and personal. The idea that Trump will do that for them again once COVID blows over, is not a false hope. I think we're all here to some extent because Obama's policies (not to mention legacy GOP policies) only benefited the 10%ers, the Ivy League Degree-holding class. (Gotta respect Bernie for realizing there was a problem, even if his solutions aren't all that effective.) For my own part, I think that Trump's policies are vastly more inclusive than that, without being totalitarian ("for all" policies that put government -- aka Ivy League bureaucrats -- in charge of large sectors of the economy.)

Justin Woodall People don't riot over an abstraction like "the economy". They riot over something concrete, like that they don't have a job, or have lost their life's work, because the government shut their business down. This is why it's easy to suspect that people who believe they will benefit politically from general unrest and unhappiness, are shutting the economy down for that purpose. Then there are the people like DeBlasio (that slithering filth) who believe they will benefit materially from the destruction of places like New York. There are a lot of Democrats who benefit (or believe they will benefit) from the suffering of others. This is driving more and more people to vote Trump all the time, to the point that I suspect November will be a landslide in Trump's favor.
