Laughing about breaking a law you've put thousands of people in jail for, 6 out of 10? Getting your start in politics by sleeping with someone more than 30 years older than you are (and married!), 6 out of 10? Um, no, Harris is 0 out of 10 herself.

@mequeldevaughn8812 Trump can trash-talk... so what? Trump kicked Epstein out of his place after women complained. Russian conspiracies have been debunked repeatedly. Trump's performance (before Leftist governors closed down every part of the American economy they could) was dramatically better than Obama's. The rationale for how Harris got on the ticket after her abysmal showing in the primary? Either "Her relationship with Beau Biden made her the natural choice", or "Jeff Bezos wants her there." Corruption in both her person and her associations, plain and simple. Also, the idea that it's someone's "turn", is about the most ridiculous reason for putting someone in charge, that I've ever heard. It was Hillary's main rationale. It didn't make any sense then, and it doesn't make any sense now.

This convention is aimed at Moderates because the Democrats are in the process of LOSING moderates hand over fist. It's a good strategy. According to the polls, it's not enough, after the disastrous Kamala Harris VP pick. Seriously guys, you found someone with less likeability than Hillary and less character than Trump. Just... How???

The only way to guarantee that people will not be destitute because of this pandemic is to REOPEN THE ECONOMY. Anything else is moonshine.

@brandonm949 Getting it "under control" means herd immunity, no more, no less. Reopening the economy is the solution for that too.

"Nothing will be solved until we get rid of the virus" -- literally, no. Coronaviruses are among the cures for the common cold, and where is our vaccine for that? Putting everything off until we get an effective vaccine is nonsense. Attempting to eliminate it via isolation is absolutely impossible, even for countries like New Zealand. So we need to pick up and soldier on, despite the virus.

@cjfernandez9089 This type of virus (Coronavirus) does not lend itself to vaccine. And it IS CURRENTLY "ripping through" the population. We are taking measures to protect the most vulnerable, and (probably more importantly) they are taking measures to protect themselves. These measures are very beneficial -- they're about the only good we really can do -- and they should remain in place. HOWEVER -- other measures (such as economic shutdown) do nothing but destroy livelihoods, hopes, and lives. We're going to reach herd immunity soon, the only real solution to this crisis, and re-opening the economy will actually HELP us achieve this.

@cjfernandez9089 Hospitals have been anything but overwhelmed in the last six months. People have been getting turned away -- cancer patients, like one of my son's elementary school classmates. He died last month. He was eight years old His epitaph says, "Taken too soon." You people think you are heroes. You are MONSTERS.
