  1. I think that when people were more aware of what was going on their more immediate area, that might actually affect them, that was healthier. Also I think we've lost the perspective, "Thank goodness that that terrible thing is happening thousands of miles away, but is not happening here." I think people were happier then.

  2. How about we hold the rioters personally responsible for the riots and destruction? That might help, instead of the catch-and-release policies we're seeing now.
