A Round Orifice in Nothingness Those numbers are severely overinflated.

The easiest way to get people to demonize each other is to split them up across identity lines. Identitarianism kills. We need to sweep it into the dustbin of history, and replace it with E Pluribus Unum style patriotism.

As the lockdowns continue, the violence will escalate. STOP THE LOCKDOWNS.

@AZOffRoadster The only person in my circle who has died of anything in the last six months, is one of my son's 4th grade classmates. He died of cancer. That cancer went untreated, because the hospitals "needed to save room" for Covid patients who never materialized. His gravestone says, "Taken too soon."

@AZOffRoadster Also, about those numbers -- only about 6% are just Covid cases. The other 94% are Covid plus something else... on average 2.6 other co-morbid conditions. Covid is a really bad flu. It's bad when people die of a really bad flu, or any of the other things people die of that are attributed to Covid. But we're causing self-inflicted wounds that simply compound all of our problems when we shut down the economy (like we've never shut down our economy before) over the sort of really bad flu that happens from time to time. Seriously, were you even listening when Krystal talked about how much despair our current shutdown-driven situation is causing? Don't you care about that? Or is it all just numbers to you?

One in four young adults has contemplated suicide, because there's nothing better for them to do. WHEN WILL WE END THIS SHUTDOWN???

Revolutionaries can't revolution through the democratic process. They're so frustrated about this they're going to revolution. (Big surprise.) If they can't make the changes you want through the democratic process, that means THE REST OF US DON'T WANT THOSE CHANGES, and there are more of us than there are of them.
