Her anti-liberty policies -- against the will of both the elected legislature and the Michigan judiciary -- would be absolutely shocking to any previous generation of American. How far have we fallen? We have governors like Whitmer now. That IS a very long way to have fallen.

  10. Governor Whitmer would have been despised by the founders. Her anti-liberty policies, and her blithe dismissal of any attempt to check or balance her power from either the Legislative (who stripped her of her powers) and the Judiciary (who said her powers are unconstitutional) leads me to believe that the Founders would have been wondering whether to prosecute Sam Adams, who would have been leading the plot.
