  1. "It belongs in a British museum" Because the natives would most likely destroy it otherwise. Untold numbers of priceless and irreplaceable artifacts from Chinese history were smashed during the Cultural Revolution. In many cases, the only surviving pieces were taken by the British (and other Europeans) during the 19th century. If they really wanted a good spinoff of Indiana Jones, they would have had Short Round racing to save as many as possible.

  3. Remakes of old games are exactly the Tomb Raider premise, only worse. They exhume old artifacts (in this case, the game) to pervert them. At least the curators of the British Museum loved the cultures they brought to the world.

  7. I'm surprised this hasn't had a SciFi "Tomb World Raider" spinoff, where she goes through no-survivor post-apocalyptic worlds, investigating why each civilization collapsed.
