I'm old enough to remember when all they wanted was "civil unions". They said it was silly to think that marriage could be changed. Since then I've counted up the number of kids I knew who leaned that way, and counted up the number of them that were abuse victims, and came out with numbers that leave no shadow of a doubt that abuse is one of if not THE major cause. Oh, and since then I've also had some of them get in touch to try to fit back into society after going to prison for .pdf filing. Yeah, the trope "They don't reproduce so they recruit" is 100% true.

@melitajay There is no public evidence that they have any political clout whatsoever. Same with the group, "G*ys Against G**omers", leading reasonable people to question whether such ideas have any real support in that demographic.

"Just be normal, and there won't be any problem" Well, except for the times they go on to target kids. Which happens in something like one in three cases. Do "they all" do it? Maybe not. Maybe it's not even a majority (though maybe it is.) It's usually how they got that way. Ask yourself: how often do drunk drivers get home safe? A majority of the time, probably an overwhelming majority of the time. But they ruin lives often enough that it's illegal. Some careers, like medicine and education (I have personal knowledge of the kind of situations I've been referring to, in both professions) should be off-limits to them by law, to keep kids safe.

At least one in three always does, and they were always going to. They recruit instead of reproduce, after all. Certain professions where they have access to / power over kids, should be off-limits to them -- medicine, education, law enforcement.

@coincollectorchase At least one in three goes on to go after kids, and at least that many (probably more) are that way themselves because they were treated that way when they were kids.

"Companies celebrate in June to make money" Not exactly. They don't make any money from customers, in fact they lose both money and customers. What this does for them, is it allows them to maintain their short-term lines of credit. Say you have a AAA game company and you've got a 5-year development cycle, which you just had to push a year because the game wasn't done. How do you keep from closing your doors? You borrow that funding from people, who won't loan it to you unless you celebrate June. Once we get DEI out of banks and other lending institutions, it's going to be dead permanently. Less than 1% of the population ever buys rainbow merchandise, and that includes 5-year-old girls who have no idea it's political. It just doesn't sell enough to make a difference, in fact it turns off more people than it impresses.
