"One impact of these lockdowns is I have become more mistrustful of information" This isn't an impact of the lockdowns. This is an impact of the fundamental dishonesty of politically correct institutions, rising bureaucratic authoritarianism and credentialism, and the decline of a religious adherence to honesty. The fact that it took locking down for you to notice this, should be set aside and replaced with a very hearty welcome to the fight.

"You can become mistrustful in a way that contaminates your entire worldview" It's not the listener that is "contaminated" by being mistrustful; it's the speaker of lies that contaminates the world. "You end up living in a fog of ignorance" Eh, no, you just live with skepticism, and weigh all the information that comes your way as best you can with all the other information that comes your way to see what's consistent and what isn't.

"We're going to have to start an awful lot of schools" Why is this an unhappy thought? It's quite inspiring, to me. =)

"I'm concerned about demography" - "It's important to me that being female is not important to me" If being female is so unimportant to you that you never have children, you're contributing to a demographic crisis. Enough babies survive nowadays that women don't have to dedicate their entire adult lives to making sure they bear 4+ kids anymore, but women still need to have (on average) 2 or so. That's just life. The old rules for getting along with men so that we all help out with this in rewarding ways, should not be thrown away either. That cultural blunder is also contributing to the demographic crisis.

"It's easily dismissed as religious fundamentalism against enlightened education" Have you ever considered that your anti-religious bigotry might be a problem with your outlook? It's the outlook that got us here.

"I don't know how they got away with this -- you couldn't say anything about it" That's because they trained people not to oppose the Left on climate change, and trained people not to oppose sexual perversions, through the homosexual movement against "hate speech". If you want to have the freedom to say that butchering children is wrong, you're going to have to tolerate people who say that homosexuality is a sin.

"The teachers are being indoctrinated" It looks like there is a point of view held by a vanishingly small minority, that has captured all shocking percentage of platforms of influence in our culture and society. Teachers, teachers' colleges, news media, publishing, HR departments -- even down to science fiction franchises, even churches for heaven's sake -- have been captured by this tiny, tiny minority. On the one hand it feels paranoid to believe this is systematic; however it seems even less likely that this could happen without some level of coordination.
