"Would it kill these studios to release a traditionally-animated film for once?" Depends if they fired that team.

"We may find ourselves in a world where there's nothing left to protect" Ironically, the pirates may save Western Civilization.

@jo-d2123 They tried that with Song of the South. There were some scenes of servility that were pretty cringey. I wonder if it would be possible to remake that one today, taking the cringe scenes out? A story about a family making its way with their newfound freedom in Reconstruction-era Dixie could thread the needle between glorifying antebellum nonsense and heavyhanded Woke commentary. "We have our freedom now. We'll have challenges for generations to come, but with cleverness, optimism, and faith, we can make a better life, even against more powerful antagonists." -- There are worse bases for a movie.

Who was it that had the nightmare fuel picture of the live-action Peppa Pig?

@mikeymike9926 They probably got backtalk form the old animators about putting in their Woke agenda. It's good to see a different company picking up those types, and building something new to challenge Disney. I hope Disney learns its lesson before it goes bankrupt, but it's a toss-up at this point.
