  1. Why do you need chaos? Because no order humans have produced, no matter how beneficial, is ever perfect, and that human beings are all too capable of setting up order that is not beneficial. Personally I lean very heavily towards order (especially the order discovered by, or given to, our ancestors). These days those types of order are being thoughtlessly replaced by people who don't understand why the fences are there in the first place (see GK Chesterton). Understanding that their version of order is less beneficial overall than older forms of order, some level of chaos is going to be necessary to get us back on track.
