  1. The United States are a collection of states. Democrats are pushing for the central government to take unprecedented levels of control over individuals, companies, and the economy -- actions that are specifically forbidden by the United States Constitution. The different regions of the United States could remain happily unified, but only if the Federal government follows the words of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the Constitution -- Amendment IX - The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people. Amendment X - The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Democrats are the ones who are violating our fundamental social contract, not Republicans.
