We're seeing this again here in 2020. We should not be surprised. We are going to have to work through this, like we did in 1918 -- farmers still farmed, workers still worked. Collapsing our economy is not going to solve this, at all.

  2. What we need to do to combat this pandemic is to have our industry start spamming out ventilators, convert hotels into hospitals, and get people who are far more resistant (compared to the elderly) to volunteer to ease the medical personnel shortage we're going to have.
