Comments by "Jim Luebke" (@jimluebke3869) on "Disney DEATH Spiral - Bob Chapek's Delusional Interview" video.
If Chapek wasn't prepared for this interview, it may have been because the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is considered very conservative by media standards. Answering questions about Leftism that aren't softball questions (or downright friendly to social conservatism) could have been a very big surprise.

Disney's best strategy is to abandon the Woke, and bring its company into line with global values -- which are a lot like the values Walt held back in the '50s. Losing the tiny fraction of the American market (who are mostly Twitter bots anyway) will not negatively affect Disney's bottom line. Bob, these Wokies can't afford $20/mo to keep their blue checks on Twitter. Why do you think they're your audience for Disney+?

"My job is to balance the various constituencies" Bob, you can tell the rainbow constituency to b*gger off, and you really won't lose any customers. In fact, you'll gain not only customers, but social approval as well.

"After they put their kids to bed, they're going to want something for them" Pr0n? (Bob, have some common sense, and make sure it's straight.)

@OsellaSquadraCorse Or hasn't followed mainstream media in the last 5 years, I guess. So WSJ isn't Conservative anymore?

@edistoorbust Apparently you can put WSJ in the same sentence as "very conservative", but only if you put the phrase "used to be" in between. No wonder most of us are turning to alternative news sources.

"New kinds of families" That aren't actually families. If Disney doesn't cherish people who will actually have children (as opposed to those who will never stop being children), Disney will self-destruct.
