  1. If we'd shut down for 60 days, March 5 - May 5, we would simply have shifted the schedule to the right. Businesses would be bankrupt (such great shape!), we'd have 30 million unemployed (really great shape!), and all that, which Pakman in his power fantasy simply ignores. We'd just be spreading the virus now. Hey, maybe none of Pakman's ideas should be discussed because there's no point. That's about the best idea you guys came up with here.

  3. Yup. Anything that a government derives revenue from, it will encourage. Criticize if you'd like, but this is a great argument for the income tax.
