  1. "Silicon Valley came up with AI" Yes. AI has no connection to the real material world. It's a collection of stuff people have typed out. This is right in line with the programmers who think that if they type stuff out, they make it true. They have a lot more in common with the Hollywood "Narrative" crowd than you seem to think.
