  1. "Money is data" -- well, sort of. Just like the EM waves can be described in Time domain or in Frequency domain, you can think of things in both Data domain and in Physical domain. Data domain has a lot of dynamic power to it, but it's unwise to discount Physical domain completely.

  3. Keep your phone in a solid metal box (but don't let it touch the box). Or if you're really clever, figure out what wavelengths it operates at, and get wire mesh that will block those wavelengths (see: Faraday Cage).
