Be respectful -- Dostoevsky (a Christian with a weakness for adultery) got away with including Jesus as the main character in a meditation on polyamory, and it's considered one of the greatest novels of all time. By the way, being respectful in this case (and in most others) involves *agreeing with Jesus*.
