  2. Tulsi Gabbard has a sense of how to bring feminine caring into politics. Margaret Thatcher knew how to be regal. (Elizabeth II as well, obviously.) Democrat women (and I'm including Kathleen Kennedy in this) just don't know how unappealing raw ambition, male-bashing, and "love her because we said so" really are.

  5. Despite being the sort of college student that read Tim Zahn's "Thrawn" trilogy, I never actually saw TRoS. Interesting that TRoS decided to steal the ending to Raiders of the Lost Ark too. I guess they really did run out of ideas.

  9. Not at all -- Mary Sue is a legitimate feminine archetype. It represents a woman who's getting attention from men because she has the miraculous ability to have babies.

  10. She should have been semi-autistic, and prone to using mostly-instinctive Force tricks to keep herself out of sight, after the life she led. At some point Han should have even mostly forgotten or ignored the fact that she was on the Falcon with them. The whole "out of frame, out of mind" from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" would have been a nice way of expressing it.
