"The Chinese are not interested in what will make the most profit (or any profit at all) but in what will create the most jobs" Will someone please explain to me why Elder Care is not the obvious way to soak up excess Chinese labor? End-of-life health care is extremely expensive (more expensive than kids, often), but somehow it doesn't count as Demand? Sure, you can argue it's an ROI problem, but that makes it an ROI problem, not a "lack of demand" problem or an "excess labor" problem.
