  2. The only power the EU parliament has, is to rubber-stamp the "executive commission"? -- No wonder the EU is so f*cked up. There is no reason any free people should tolerate that. That's like the US government removing every democratic institution except the Electoral College. There's no way that governance structure will survive intact, over the next few years. The EU is headed for major reforms, or outright dissolution.
