  2. They're going to have a couple of bad years, sure. How does it work out for them by the end of the decade, if they are faced with an epidemic disease that is primarily fatal to the elderly but leaves the young generally untouched? Doesn't Peter usually talk a lot about how China's biggest problem is the way it's going to have too many retirees for its workers to support? Honestly, the dumbest thing they're doing is the lockdowns. That goes for just about every country on Earth, though.

  3. "Superspreader events" So, are you saying that China is about to be swept by a disease that preferentially targets the elderly and leaves the young largely untouched? Aren't you usually pointing out how China is about to collapse because soon it's going to have too many retirees for its working population to support?
