  1. Peter's an interesting person to listen to, because he's a very clear window into what the Establishment thinks. What worries me, is that everyone's right -- we think that Trump will win far and away a majority of votes in this country, and Zeihan is right that Trump will lose the election.

  4.  @jonlittle5032  Peter's reasonably articulate, and it's always good to hear what the Establishment is thinking. Sometimes when he does the research for himself, he comes up with some interesting insights. If he weren't Establishment-captured he'd still be pushing for fracking.

  7. Yup. He doesn't recognize that the people who were too young to vote in 2020 but are getting old enough to vote now, have noticed just how c*ap everything has gotten under Biden, and are likely to vote him out of office.

Unless Biden pulls some shenanigans again (which I won't rule out) and doesn't get caught again (which is a bit more of an ask) he doesn't stand a chance. Anyone who uses the word "narrative" unironically is, at heart, a liar.

  15. I don't understand why we can't make the same deals for Japanese boat manufacturers (who are best in the world) that we do for Japanese car manufacturers. Most Hondas are "American" cars, according to the law.
