  1. "The Russians can't let the conflict freeze for 20 years, so it won't happen" Or, it if happens, that will mean that Trump has won. Which Zeihan doesn't think he can do. Which Zeihan has been wrong about, for example back in November. If the Russians have had battlefield losses as bad as Zeihan's friends have told us, wouldn't that mean they cannot continue all the wars Zeihan thinks they will have, seemingly no matter what? The Russians need to make love, not war, and at some point they're not going to have a choice there.
