  1. CV may be extremely helpful in solving the Housing crisis, particularly in America -- we're learning to telework, and we're learning that high population density is absolutely deadly. Both of these factors will dramatically reduce the densifying tendencies of previous years, which is what has driven the housing market out of reach for most people. If you can get a good job in a place where there's plenty of space to build, if you're not 100% required to live in a dense city to have a high-paying job, the scarcity premium on land doesn't entirely vanish, but it eases greatly.

  2. We may be more willing to defend our values (despite hardship) in a world where people have experienced hardship. CV could help with that.
