@frankd2392 Are you Europeans still on about that? I thought that strain of Nietzschean thought went out of fashion in a bunker under Berlin in 1945, although I guess the Communists (who also believe the State to be uber alles) tried to keep up the pretense for another 44 years or so. You realize that your choice is between revived Christianity and Islam, right? Atheism isn't a real option. Look at the birth rates. Europe of 2100 will be less feminist, more heteronormative, and either vastly more Christian or vastly more Muslim. Choices you make today, will help determine which.

@frankd2392 Congregations are only dwindling in denominations that have drifted leftwards -- denominations that have remained conservative are growing. Leftward Europe is also dying. Countries that have seen their birthrates turn around are consciously pursuing re-Christianization policies. As for the rest? Their populations aged 0-18 are predominantly Muslim. The choice is clear: Christian revival, or Sharia law. Doesn't seem like all that hard a choice, to my mind.
