  1. The most dangerous thing, is for activists to force a large number of reasonable people to say, "I will be on whichever side is on MY side." That's why the only truly unifying philosophy does not discriminate against ANYONE.

  2. Autism is still on the frontier of science. It's considered "a spectrum", which is a diagnostic shrug of the shoulders. Having looked into this because I have multiple autistic family members (one of whom is so seriously afflicted he never even learned to speak, which makes diagnosis relatively incontrovertible) it looks to me like a syndrome involving problems with human interactions that likely has multiple causes, which will be identified and separated as more research is done.
