  1. I don't often go into the downtown area, even in the small Canadian town I live close to. But I guess I forget how much instant respect, two, well-behaved German Shepherds walking beside me on a slack lead project. I never feel intimidated and there's usually a clear path.

It's sad that there seems to be MORE aggression, in general, geopolitically, in relationships and in interpersonal relations between strangers, than ever before. Sadly we ALL need to know these tactics now. This great channel should have over a million subscribers!!! SUPPORT THE CREATOR!!

  5. Do you really think that is an option? Response times being what they are...? There are some incredible medically approved canes that can be VERY effective for self defence and more. And you are allowed to carry it anywhere - even onboard an aircraft. I would, but I have two German Shepherds - sort of like a gun in each hand.

  10. Oh yeah, we have our share of 'nutters' here in Canada too. The 'Diamond' scene at the beginning is downtown Toronto, my old stompin' grounds. Glad I left that madness for the mountains of BC. I don't know how they put up with the violence in general in deep trouble areas. (I hear a siren about once every three months. I'm 15 minutes from a decent Mall and 20 minutes from an International Airport. Why move?)

  14.  @tcapo514  Really. What a stupid, condescending comment. (Are you of the same mindset as the aggressor?) And WHY would she want to 'get' a handgun - - when she can clearly defend herself?? In almost EVERY country IN THE WORLD - - other than the USA, it is illegal to carry a handgun. And that - is WHY America has ridiculous numbers of its own citizens killing each other - over tiny incidents that evolve into rage - that kills.

  15. I commend you for your actions and your maturity when the adrenalin was pumping! For sure, your Father is to be commended for encouraging you to learn how to defend yourself (and stand up for yourself in other ways too, I'm sure!) but the real praise goes to you - for your courage and resiliency. Guns - are NOT the answer. People like you are!

  18.  @fightscience  "The more I know about people - the better I like my dog." (Mark Twain) The don't lie or cheat and usually only steal your heart. Once they're a part of your 'family' you (I) forget just how ferocious they CAN be. They are always on alert when on lead, (we live in the country - they don't have collars...) BC life... Great content!

  19. The more of your videos I see - the more I enjoy walking with my two German Shepherds. Both on one side, on lead or off, sort of like an EDC or a CCW but no permit required. Thanks for another great episode Dr.

  21.  @fightscience  (I still wonder why more people don't have well-trained dogs! A dog at your side is almost as effective as a handgun! I know not a lot of guns in the UK - - but they're everywhere in the USA. Thankfully - - I get to live in Canada!)
