  1. Many of us agree. I've put in DM a long while ago, that I think Jake is qualified and has the security clearance (from his role as a Military Officer) to become the next and the best-ever US Ambassador To Ukraine! and I (a concerned Canadian) would love to see that happen. But I don't think enough people would support Jake at the ballot box to start the process to be a fantastic President. Given the recent changes in US government with musk as president and trump as 'Acting president' I think their cult followers would never allow Jake any peace.

  3. I cannot believe that I'm the first person to upvote your incredible comment. YES. Possibly the most globe-changing single line quote ever; certainly the most prolific of the last ten years. The EU CAN step into the hole the US is creating. Even if trump cuts aid the US economy is heavily involved in selling weapons. So trump would still accept sales to the EU even knowing where those items were going to end up. (If trump refused even that - it would be the beginning of the end of him.)
