But you're getting to see ALL the configurations of ALL the gear - AND, you're even getting a giant peak behind the curtains at the factories. Remember these days!!

  2. The music audio level during your B-roll is WAY TOO LOUD - compared to the narration. Ex Caterpillar Salesman here - I sold in Ontario. Nice job on this!

  3. Ahhh you're makin' an old Cat Sales Managers heart sing! Fabulous video. The modifications done to the latest D7 are incredible - pinpoint control and location. Maximum visibility packages and most of the things we used to do to both forestry machines dozers, excavators and other and the one application that might be tougher than this one - landfill sites. All those machines had fire suppression, auto greasing and gaps in panels customized to be much smaller than normal - to prevent steel banding and other debris from getting into compartments. But to watch this all Cat fleet of tractors go to work was fabulous. Great episode!

  5. Sure, it's a big project but who is running it and designed it?? ZERO motor graders on site!!! WHY?? Your 'over 100 trucks' are loping all over because of poor roads in the cut!! This increases waste, increases travel time per trip, increasing fuel costs AND repair and tire costs and is LESS efficient all at the same time. The fact that your 1200's are mostly top-loading is also NUTS! This looks like a big, poorly-designed hot mess.
