  1. I believe your analysis is precisely correct Prof. Sal. When I saw the incredible advance in the fire since yesterdays episode I immediately thought of what you suggested - - it needs a fire break - the way we do for forest fires here in BC. This tragedy is massive. This aspect and the ensuing toxic smoke and waste may disable this port for many years. Thank you for your fabulous insights!
