I think "the taps are being turned off" in russia - in more ways than one. You're right (as always Sal!) they can't just 'turn off' the wells - moreso now that winter is approaching. The engineering things that would freeze and go boom COULD have been prevented / fixed by the guys who DESIGNED and built the ru oilfields - - BP and Shell. But putin screwed them all - so - they - are - gone! (ru too soon.)
