As a Senior who didn't stretch enough years ago, some of these exercises are outright scary; it shows what can be done though. What a super resource this channel is.

You're right Jonathan, that was a lot of technical stuff to get through and I'm not college-age, (could have college grandkids!) but I learn from every episode; I often watch them twice, to absorb it all. So much good information!! Kids today - so lucky; an absolute plethora of medical school calibre lectures from great personalities like YOU - FREE!! Amazing times.

The image at 7:11 is... disturbing; just the sort of face I'd expect when talking about this subject!

What a brilliant job on an uncomfortable subject. Thank you for your professionalism and thoroughness. Being an active senior with RA and years of abuse as a Letter Carrier, (stairs with mailbags are a beast!) I may have this in my future. While the description of the 'most painful procedure' was daunting - I would rather be prepared. Some of the comments about preparatory workouts and the importance of rehab make a lot of sense. Thank you!

As a guy who's had Crohn's Disease for 40 years, I have had my share of colonoscopies. I've gotten to the point where I know my body and habits pretty well but have not had - not wanted to have - another colonoscopy for 15 years, and I'm now over 65. I was hoping you would cover the other 'complications' that can arise from this procedure and the occurrence frequency of them. (Still 'liked')

@shycat5905 A famous scene with Jack Nicholson in "Something's Gotta' Give" the Emergency Room scene when HE RIPS out his own IV line when he learned about the potential reaction, (after previously having lied about taking it).

Great information! I think you're very lucky and wise to follow that regimen. (You might've dodged a fatal bullet.)

Sounds like a good program. Thanks for sharing. Full recovery soon!!

You are a great instructor Doctor; you're students (including us) are lucky to have you! One of your best episodes ever in my opinion. What is 'Actinic Keratosis'? If it is not 'skin cancer' but a precursor to it - why do Dermatologist's treat it with essentially 'chemotherapy cream'? I'm bald but have worn a hat for decades - effects from my youth!

I just 'liked' a 17 minute video - - about poop. Fabulous!

Even start with good digital pictures of any spots you're concerned about. Build a history. Same spots over a period and save the pics. (Place a dime or a Sharpie marker close to the concerning spots - for scale for the doctor.) Easy and essentially free.

I think the new graphics on-screen, with the ability to light up layers at a touch, are great and add to the comprehension of the presentation.

I read Dr. Grafenberg's book back in the 70's. I'm glad to see not much new has been added.

@bahadrabana4629 I chose not to use Humira - shuts off too much of the immune system for me. But, I know of others that have done well on it. I control it with gluten-free diet and CBD. Leave email address for more info...

I grew up on jobsites, no shirt, no hardhat, thinning hair then - now bald. I felt the same way. I WISH I knew then - what I know now. If he's got thinning hair - - at the very least - get him into a good hat! (Buy it for him!?)

Hey Justin, I almost had to tune out close to the end, not from the audio artifact but from the memories! I've bin 'der, dun 'dat too. Almost identical, twisted bowel, blockage, NG Tube for 8 days - NPO for 8 days. One nurse snuck me in 1/4 cup of ice-chips at 0300 one night and it was amazing. The next day I got a lemon-glycerin-swab like an oversized Q-Tip, for mouth cleaning and I savoured it for an hour.
