  5. I was thinking the same thing but by the look of the caulking already used (multiple repair attempts?) it might be too late. But I agree. If the joint between the pieces can be made really clean and its well-glued and clamped (as you've suggested) and allowed to cure a full 24 hours - it might save the replacement. But to caulk that is like trying to 'weld' on a circuit board.

I've seen episodes where you are visibly upset and have to practice deep-breathing techniques to maintain composure. I feel your pain.   25. You're absolutely correct Louis. I've been seding junk back for years after I saw this trend. In Canada Prime is not what you get - we're lucky to see a package in 3 days. YEARS ago, after being burned with no backing from Amazon - (they skate any responsibility) if it was bought from a '3rd Party seller'! So now - NO purchases unless an Amazon affiliate sells it and Amazon delivers it.

  31. I love your videos and your rants Louis. But your statistics on the square footage required by a chicken is wildly high; backyard flocks would occupy the entire yard. But TEN s.f. per chicken is plenty and if the owner keeps them entertained and well fed (I bring in veggie trim from the grocery store and scatter it around - they love it AND it's good for them) - no fighting even between hens and chicks. (Come visit!)

I agree with you - I would like to know up front - which restuarant / coffee shop / service of any kind has an option to tip when you don't expect it - or if it is automatically added to your bill beforehand... NO! I want to know - so I don't even go in there! (I've done that at the mechanic too!)

Looks like you've paid some attention to detail in sound treatements for your room; mad respect for giving the felines a convenient scratch post. Two subs - noice! Did you do an acoustical analysis of your room to assist with placement (they LOOK good there...) Curious if they'd sound better with one on the front wall and the other on the side wall...? And one THIRD the way across and down those walls - not halfway (should prevent stacking of standing waves.) Did you mess about with placement?

  38. Have you auditioned "Totem Acoustic" Louis? I used to work in a 'Custom A/V' shop where we specialized in whole home systems, (from theatre DESIGN, network, power-conditioning, to GUI's, seating and acoustic treatments); SO many aspects that make showrooms sound 'crap'. We sold many brands over the years including the B&W's. I personally love the 'Totem - Wind' speakers - amazing (and Canadian made!).
