  1. I love your videos and your rants Louis. But your statistics on the square footage required by a chicken is wildly high; backyard flocks would occupy the entire yard. But TEN s.f. per chicken is plenty and if the owner keeps them entertained and well fed (I bring in veggie trim from the grocery store and scatter it around - they love it AND it's good for them) - no fighting even between hens and chicks. (Come visit!)
