You say these overpriced, oil-eaters were "literally made to break" and will have "major malfunction" within a year - that will NOT be covered by warranty. Really? (That's total BS IMO) For years US manufacturers have been bragging about their improved quality and exciting new designs. So...?? (Quote YOUR source for your statement.) Successful manufacturers design VALUE and SERVICE into their products and sell based on the reputation that earns them in the marketplace... Some people will WAIT - and pay more - for better quality! Accepting the tactics used by some sleazy car dealerships and buying poorly-designed US junk under pressure - and with the expectation that it WILL have a 'major malfunction' is what gave the US car industry its sleazy, corrupt reputation.
