  2. that 25 years is a con, you'd have to enlist at an early age to survive into your 40's and imagine how many battles and thousands of walking miles in 25 years, probably be to knackerd to do anything. what's the real percentage of anyone living out their 25 years service and then not getting their dream of an ordinary life without killing someone ? To be Roman was everything to these people that had little to nothing
