They enter the UK after the french escort them into British waters as they are still illegal, they are picked up and claim asylum which means they have a right under the EHRC to enter the UK, are you still awake ? Asylum states, you do not have to claim asylum in the first safe country you come to, there is no time limit as to how long that is. In this case 4 years in France, this government is not fit for purpose are you now up to speed ?
