China new factories are highly automated and populated with robotics. They need very few human workers. The advantages are lower production costs (no lunch breaks, no sick leaves, no vacations, robots can work 24 hrs, always on time, no raises, no dormitories, no strikes, no complaints, can work day or night, etc). and robots/automation produce higher quality work. There's one factory in China started with 50 human workers. It was upgraded by automation and robotics. After the upgrade was finish, only 3 human workers remain to supervise the robots. A factory started out with 50 human workers was reduced to just 3. And that factory produce higher quality products at a lower cost. Human workers have to seek employment in service industry like tourism, healthcare, etc.🦉
