  1. Good point, but I'm not claiming that gun control is a panacea. It's simply a quick-fix to limit the amount of massacres that are occurring, while continuing to push for progressive reforms (living wage, universal heathcare, money out of politics, etc) that will transform society at the base level.

  3. So your AR-15 is going to go up against drones, tanks, jets, and the most powerful military on the entire planet? It's time to wake up and realize that the 2nd amendment is not about protecting the citizens from government force. If in some nutty world, the American government decided to start murdering citizens en masse, your measly guns aren't going to save you. So in the meantime, might as well have some proper gun reforms so that at the very least you can limit the civilian on civilian violence.
