  30. Bethelites are not allowed to have children, they make a vow of poverty, work for free, some all their lives, and when they are thrown out they get no money, no retirement plan, no nothing. Sadly, this organization receives tax breaks and don’t pay Social Security benefits to these volunteers because the government assumes that they will take care of those that spent their lives working for them for free; Yeah, right.

JWs have the highest rate of suicides when compared to other religious groups. People die because of the no blood doctrine including my grandmother who died because she refused a transfusion. Just because my wife and I decided to leave that organization, we lost all our family and friends. Everyone is shunning us. What was our sin? We stopped going to the meetings. The Watchtower has in record a list of over 23,000 pedophiles that they protect inside their organization. They are losing millions in lawsuits because of this. They do not inform the congregation or the community that there is a child predator within their midst. They do not allow you to get a higher education because "the end is so near" and I personally know those that are now struggling in their old age because of this. Does the WT maintain them now after they wasted their lives in the WT's interests? Battered wives are not allowed to leave their abusive husbands. And if they do, they are not allowed to remarry. I can go on and on with examples of how evil this cult is and how they destroy lives and families. Was this enough or do you need more?
