My brother worked at a Sprint Retail store and tells me that 100% of the people caught stealing were blacks. So the black community can thank other blacks for the discrimination. First, it wasn't last year, it was last month that "the Governing Body has decided" to allow members to reach out to their disfellowshipped family, and invite them to start assisting the meeting again. If they refuse, they will continue to be shunned. And even if they start going to the meetings, active J-Dubs are only allowed to greet them when they arrive. Specific instructions were given to not have an extended conversation with these disfellowshipped ones. You will continue to be shunned until you are reinstated, which typically takes a year.
