  2. Sam seems dismissive when someone talks about the inherent value of gold, yet the truth is gold has retained its intrinsic value for thousands of years, yet fiat currency always dies. The average lifespan of fiat currency is 26 years. Gold, like iron, like any commodity, has an intrinsic value. Paper money has no permanent intrinsic  value, and therefore at some point becomes worthless. Sam, name the point where gold or iron becomes worthless.
