He said if someone in battle says they are not scared they are lying idk if that is true in 03 I sat in a opened turret many many shots taken at me for the first 1 or 2 months I was terrified every time we convoyed I was typically the lead gunner in our convoy team I can remember excepting what ever came from that point on I was not scared I honestly think that is the difference between those with sever ptsd and those without your body and mind can’t handle constant extreme stress the day I excepted death I was free of stress and I can remember the second the switch in my minds happened
